Reports say the singer is in talks to appear in a film by Xavier Dolan, the guy behind her stunning video for Hello.

Could Adele be about to make the leap to the big screen?
Now she wouldn’t be writing any original music for the movie, so we’re not going to get a followup to Skyfall, but it would be simply AH-Mazing to see her onscreen opposite Jessica Chastain, Kit Harrington, Susan Sarandon, and Kathy Bates!
The movie will follow an actor, whose life is turned upside-down, when a gossip columnist reveals his correspondence with an 11-year-old fan. The two had collaborated for the music video of “Hello” which has been viewed over 320 million times. Adele hinted at the future collaboration recently, telling Kiss FM, “I’m sure I’ll get a few flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier”. Though it’s unclear exactly what her involvement will be, Adele will make an appearance in the film.
Dolan won critical acclaim with 2014’s Mommy, about a widowed single mother raising her son who is prone to violent outbursts. The young auteur returned this year as part of the jury.

Now that she’s done making a baby and breaking the internet, Adele has set her sights on the only achievement she hasn’t yet exposed her mastery of.
