Adele’s “Hello” Music Video Smashes Taylor Swift’s Record For “Bad Blood”

Adele’s music video for “Hello” now holds the record for most views in 24 hours, a record previously held by Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”. “When I first heard it, all the images were already running by so clearly in my head – and her trust and generosity allowed me to create freely”.

“Hello”, the latest release from British chanteuse Adele, is an aptly titled break-up anthem created to welcome fans back into the singer’s sometimes melancholic world ahead of the November 20 release of her album “25”.

“My last record was a break up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record”.

Adele’s video, which was filmed in Montreal, Canada, is yet to beat Swift’s record total 1.2 billion Vevo views for her single “Blank Space”.

Kurstin, who has worked with Pink, Lily Allen, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, said he and Adele were supposed to work together on music for “21”, but it didn’t pan out. “I really felt very comfortable around her because she makes you feel that way”.

The visuals, which stars Tristan Wilds, for the single also broke the Vevo record for most views in a day with 27.7 million. “Making up for lost time”, she added.

“25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realising”.

After that, she posted a message on Twitter informing her fans about the title of her new album and a short narrative of her journey from her early years to the present times.

Her return to SNL marks her first time performing on the Studio 8H stage since her debut in 2008, when she sang her first single Chasing Pavements. However, the album was then stalled for another year.

Besides winning six Grammy awards, Adele also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for the James Bond theme “Skyfall“.
