Adele thought of bowing out after success of ’21’
The Grammy Award-winner just released her new song “Hello” with a full album upcoming. Spotify has resisted the proposal and has yet to find out if 25 will be available to stream on the platform. One of the main topics of debate remains the distribution of royalties per played track, and more and more artists are considering to keep their new albums off Spotify completely.

Before this teaser, Adele had been silent for several years.
The subsequent music video posted to Vevo hit more than 27.7 million views within 24 hours, eclipsing a record (20.1 million) previously held by Swift’s “Bad Blood”, according to E!
There is a large possibility that Spotify users will change the status of their subscription in order to gain access to streaming Adele’s music.
Adele, who is in the midst of a music comeback, strikes a fierce and gorgeous pose on the cover of The Guardian newspaper’s The Observer Music magazine.
But there is one thing that Adele did accept. What is it, we wonder? The song, written by Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear, was the first-ever country song to reach 2 million downloads, and has since been certified 5x Platinum for more than 5 million sales. Vulture have pointed out that even if she was to top the success of her last album, it might not be for years and hardly any other artists have been able to achieve this coveted prize anyway. But Adele admits she often sheds a tear to her music too. This could throw a major monkey wrench into the spokes of this overly popular music streaming service. There are no ad-supported tiers on the service, which clears the biggest hurdle to getting 25 on the service. That Adele, always looking out for her fans.
Adele also opened up about why she has rejected endorsement deals that have come her way throughout her career. Spotify could also reportedly turn down the “Someone Like You” singer’s request and miss out on the album, which has caused quite a bit of buzz long before its release date.
Spotify is the king of music streaming and has managed to fend off competition from the likes of Apple Music and TIDAL over the past 12 months.
