Adele to perform at the Super Bowl?

She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.

The singer is said to be discussing making an appearance during the halftime show at the National Football League event, which takes place at the NRG Stadium in Houston next February.

But the source said that “Adele’s nerves are the issue” and “it hasn’t been an easy sell”.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show is undoubtedly one of the biggest nights in the sporting – and musical – calendar, and every single year we wait with bated breath for the announcement of who has bagged the coveted headline performer role…

If she does agree to the massive gig, she would be heading to Houston’s NRG Stadium in Texas on February 5, where the games will be held.

An incredible 115 million people tuned into watch Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars perform at this year’s Super Bowl back in February.

She asked if there were any teachers in the audience and added: “Well, f***ing hell, I love teachers – they’re so important in our lives”.

“I’m trying to powder my tongue a little bit and not swear so much”, she told the crowd.

Referencing the festival, she said, “I managed to swear 33 times”.

She said: “I see lots of mothers here, so forgive me if I do”.

Speaking on stage at the Staples Center on Monday night, the singer explained her bad language by simply saying: “I’m British”. “Just know if I do, I never mean it meanly, all right?”
