“I hope it’s Donald Trump”.

“Nobody complaining that we’re behind schedule”, Mr. Trump supporter, Rep. Chris Collins (R., N.Y.) said, noting Democrats are still locked in a primary fight. They include traditional battlegrounds like Ohio, Florida and Virginia and more challenging terrain such as Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and ME – places Republican have lost for the last six presidential elections or longer. The super PAC will use Facebook, Twitter and other digital platforms to reach women, Latinos, blacks and millennials with ads that cast the presumptive Republican presidential nominee as unsafe and deceptive. Among independent voters, Sanders and Trump remain favorities, he added.

Trump won the sole GOP contest in OR, where Sanders was declared the victor shortly after the polls closed in the liberal-leaning state. Hillary’s top aides “have settled into a governing-over-glamour plan in a way that Trump’s Republican rivals never did, and the candidate has far more discipline and a thicker skin than any of the 16 Trump vanquished”.

As Trump shuns campaign norms and assumes that his candidacy will attract large numbers of white, low-education voters, some political analysts insist that Trump Democrats will not emerge as a major factor at all in the fall.

In fact, with so many GOP candidates competing, more than 10 million votes were cast against Trump. Mrs Clinton has a similar agreement with Democrats, enabling her to collect cheques of more than 350,000 USA dollars (£243,000)from individual donors. “I’d rather have them released”, Barrasso said.

The NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll was conducted online from May 9 through May 15 among 14,100 adults, including 12,507 who say they are registered to vote. Outside the South, the Democratic percentages actually increased (11.2 percent) for an overall national increase of 4.5 percent.

The 30-second ad titled “Speak” features women lip-syncing demeaning statements Trump has made about women.

Sharon Sharp said she voted for Sanders for one reason: He is not Hillary Clinton.
