EA and DICE have now released details for what it to be included in the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass.

Recently, Star Wars fans were given a first taste of the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront through the game’s open beta, although said beta only contained a somewhat paltry handful of game modes and available maps. The continuation of the franchise gives shoppers the opportunity to find that flawless and timely gift for the longtime “Star Wars” fan on the shopping list. Cards represent better weapons and gear.

The Battle of Jakku DLC for the Star Wars Battlefront game that has been created to complement the new Force Awakens movie will be free.

As you’d expect, the matches featured two teams Rebels versus Imperials, basically X-Wings versus Tie-fighters (where have I heard that before…?), with hero ships like The Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett’s Slave One occasionally making an appearance. Naturally this leads for a lot of sparring fun.

DICE and Electronic Arts say they plan to deliver four new Heroes and Villains, 16 maps and four unique game modes in 2016 via downloadable content packs. Star Wars Battlefront will also feature a wide range of modes tailored for different types of battles, from larger 40-person competitive multiplayer modes to crafted missions that are played either solo, with a friend via split-screen offline, or co-operatively online.

Battlefront has a DLC season pass available for £39.99.

As soon as 20 percent of the game has been downloaded, EA Access members can start playing the mini game and importantly they can step into the role of Darth Vader.

EA also recently released a companion app for the game that allows gamers to earn credits before its release next week.
