ADP Achieves flawless Score in the Human Rights Campaign’s 2016 Corporate

Heralding it as the “First Global Corporate Equality Index”, companies and laws firms could only score 100 if, in addition to achieving other measures, they were able to demonstrate that they provide non-discrimination protections to their employees worldwide. Denny’s, the diner chain headquartered in Spartanburg, scored 75 percent. The 2016 CEI rated a total of 1,027 businesses in the report.

Armstrong Teasdale joins the ranks of 391 major USA businesses that also earned top marks on the fourteenth annual scorecard. None of those were in SC.

The survey found that 511 companies that participated in the survey now offer transgender workers at least one health-care plan that has transgender-inclusive coverage. PRIDE (People Respecting Individuality, Diversity and Equality) is an LGBT Business Resource Group open to all Unilever employees that share a common goal of endorsing respect, individuality, diversity and equality throughout the organization.

That’s according to the recently released 2016 Corporate Equality Index published annually by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, a national LGBT civil rights organization.

Most recently the company was honored in Diversity MBA’s “50 Out Front Companies for Diversity Leadership” and also secured a spot for the seventh consecutive year on Working Mother magazine’s “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers” list.

The CEI ratings are based on non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, accountability around LGBT diversity and inclusion, public commitment to LGBT equality, and responsible citizenship.
