Adrian Peterson calls out Vikings coaches, players after loss to Packers

After two consecutive victories in Week 9 and 10, the Bears suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11, 17-15, at their home turf of Soldier Field on Sunday, as per SB Nation.

It certainly helped Rodgers’ career that he worked under the tutelage of Favre before taking the reins to the Green Bay offense, but now he may be surpassing his mentor. For now, the Packers remain in 1st place with Minnesota with the tie breaker in their favor.

Everyone wants to hate on the Packers Defense.

Fusco isn’t wrong. When watching the game, it appeared as though the offensive line was getting bullied in the trenches, specifically on the left side where Fusco and Kalil couldn’t seem to get things on track. The Chicago Bears ground game is averaging 111.7 yards per contest, and Matt Forte leads the way with 548 yards and two touchdowns.

It should be a fun one, folks.

Sunday’s game was televised to most of the nation on Fox. “So I guarantee you it’s going to be a different outcome this time”. He’s clearly a big part of the Green Bay passing game when healthy, but the two-week target total was extremely inflated by game context, with the Green Bay Packers trailing by multiple scores for the majority of both contests. Eddie Lacy had his best game of the season.

Let’s see how they did … As it turned out, he was one of the key factors.

If the Bears pressure Rodgers, limit Lacy, and Tracy Porter can take away Randall Cobb, the Packers’ offense will struggle. RB Jeremy Langford one of three rookies in National Football League history with 70 yards rushing, one rushing TD, 100 yards receiving and one TD reception in same game after accomplishing feat in Week 10 at St. Louis. James Jones bounced back with a strong game after being shutout in the previous week and along with Davante Adams, Jones should be a solid fantasy start option on Thursday. On the downside Rodgers may have been off on a few passes.

There was an admission from the Vikings on Monday that, again, they tried at times to overdo certain plays with the importance of this game as an unavoidable backdrop.

Lastly, Special teams ended up being a big factor.

The heat had been turned up on several under-performing Packers players in recent weeks, but almost all of them answered the bell on Sunday, perhaps none more than the maligned Green Bay defense, which limited Vikings running back Adrian Peterson to just 45 yards and sacked quarterback Teddy Bridgewater six times. Crosby also made a 52-yarder to provide the final margin late in the game.

In the end what it really comes down to, in my opinion. The Vikings squandered a prime opportunity to take control of the race. They have a tough schedule ahead of them, and they are yet to beat an opponent with a winning record.

Little attention will be given to the Bears’ performance in this game as the focus turns to the Mannning vs. Osweiler debate, but this is a disappointing home loss in a game that looked like it could firmly put the Bears in the playoff conversation. He did well against the Vikings last week, recording 109 receiving yards and a touchdown.
