Adrian Peterson questionable for Saturday’s border battle

So, if the Packers don’t beat the Vikings, by all means continue rooting against the Lions as is customary.

In the backfield, after losing Eddie Lacy to a season-ending ankle injury in October, the Packers finally seemed to have found a lead back in the most unconventional of ways. That sets them up for a divisional title game matchup next Sunday in Detroit for what will reportedly be the Sunday Night Football game.

The Green Bay Packers have stormed their way back into the playoff picture, winning four consecutive games against the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, and Chicago Bears. Most of the country will see the Saturday afternoon game, as Fox sends its top team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to call the game.

The Vikings were well into their post-bye week spiral on November 13. Then a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans.

With that in mind, don’t be surprised if his career in Minnesota is truly finished after 10 years. The Vikings sit two games back in the NFC North and the Wild Card isn’t looking likely either. His rushing numbers are a small sample size, but for the year he is averaging an incredible 6.5 yards per carry, the highest of anyone with 60 or more carries.

Elliott proposes the National Football League should allow for touchdowns to be celebrated instead of taking some fun out of the game.

The Green Bay Packers have powered through injuries to Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews to surge back into postseason contention. The special teams can’t let Cordarrelle Patterson run amok with returns. It would assist Green Bay’s strength of victory calculation.

So far, Rodgers has made good on that prognostication, leading Green Bay to four straight wins and an 8-6 record.

The 31-year-old running back tore his meniscus in his right knee while playing against the Packers in Week 2 of the season and soon underwent surgery. Now, they can do a bit to wreck the Packers’ playoff hopes (and help their own) with a win on Saturday. The teams did not play one another, so there’s no head-to-head. They have consistently been able to stand up in both the run and the pass with a minimal investment from the organization.

The Packers have gone through an up-and-down season of their own, and now find themselves at 8-6 and second place in the NFC North.

Adrian Peterson has been ruled out for Minnesota in this game, he’s still nursing some issues with his knee that was operated on earlier this season. That came after the Packers won 10 of 12 meetings in the series from 2010 through 2015. The Green Bay team you may actually want to fear is the one you don’t expect to fear. “So, obviously, after last week we need to go out there and play better and play the way we know we can”.
