Advertisers Continue to Abandon ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’
Of course, Josh is not part of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, but it seems that any association with the Duggar family is not desirable among many top companies. But while Josh’s mom wants him to stage his comeback on Counting On, the spin-off show featuring his sisters, Jill and Jessa are determined to halt their brother, according to Hollywood Life. More than 12 companies already have pulled their advertising in the wake of the Josh Duggar scandal, in which it was revealed he had sexually molested four of his sisters and a babysitter.
“Hotwire’s ads appear on many cable networks including AMC, Bravo, HGTV, TNT, TBS, USA as well as TLC Network”, clarified the company. However, reports detail that Trivago, Thumbtack, Gerber Life, and Hotwire are now telling TLC that they do not want their ads running during the Duggar show.
Per the report, over a dozen of advertisers who made a large buy on cable television balked when they learn that their ads are run during the first season of “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”.
“The Gerber Life ad was inadvertently shown during the premiere of Counting On, ‘ Gerber Life said”. However, the advertisers are firm on their decision to pull out their ads from the network.
Trivago also released a statement after one of its ads aired during TLC’s reality show.

Advertisers have continued to abandon TLC after they aired the premiere of their latest series involving the Duggars. “After further consideration we have made a decision to remove this network from our plan”.
