Aerosmith Bassist Tom Hamilton Says Joe Perry is Doing ‘Better Than Feared’
The Hollywood Vampires have pulled out of a U.S. TV performance on Monday night (11Jul16) as guitarist Joe Perry remains hospitalised following a health emergency. Perry was forced to leave the stage early during a Coney Island, N.Y. concert by the Vampires, who also count Alice Cooper and actor / guitarist Johnny Depp among their ranks.

It’s unclear whether Perry will be well enough to perform at Hollywood Vampires’ next concert in OH on Tuesday. He had to sit on drum kit and then went behind a small wall and passed out. He was taken to Coney Island hospital and his condition now is stated to be stable.
In a statement issued by Perry in April, he said: ‘Here is a gang of friends who came together really by chance and over the a year ago we were finally able to wrangle our schedules and the energy just fell into place.
After the show, he posted on Twitter that Perry was doing better.
A police spokesman confirmed to NBC News that Perry was transported by ambulance from the amphitheater to a nearby hospital and was in stable condition Sunday night.
“Joe Perry is stable and resting”, the representative, Sujata Murthy, said in a statement.
Friends and fans took to social media to express concern. They also have two shows in MI and one in Wisconsin this week, and while there’s nothing as of yet to suggest any of them will be cancelled, Perry may not be in a fit enough state to join them.

And Donald Trump senior adviser Dan Scavino also sent well wishes via Twitter, with an emoji-filled tweet saying, “Thoughts and prayers are with @JoePerry for a speedy recovery”.
