Steven Tyler has threatened to SUE Donald Trump if he doesn’t stop using Aerosmith ‘s Dream On song for his campaign rallies. However he has continued to use it at events, including during a recent appearance in Georgia.

According to Tyler’s angry cease and desist letter… this is actually the 2nd time Trump has been warned about using Aerosmith’s classic ballad.

Tyler is not the first musician who have spoken out against Republican candidates using their music. In addition, Trump is a fan of Tyler and Aerosmith, having gone to a concert for the band in 2014 and tweeting, “Doesn’t get any better than that”.

It would be more surprising if Tyler’s grievance was about politics as he is a registered Republican and both he and Aerosmith drummer were among the 5,000 at the Republican debate in Cleveland – as Trump’s guests.

The letter adds that it “gives the false impression that he is connected with or endorses Mr Trump’s presidential bid”. “If Trump for President has any such license, please forward it to our attention immediately”.

Donald Trump has been moving in the circles of money and power long enough that he’s certainly acquired his share of celebrity friends. News that the singer was unhappy with Trump using his song “Rockin’ in the Free World” during his candidacy announcement.
