Aerosmith Joe Perry Suffers Cardiac Arrest And Collapses Mid-Performance

All four of Joe Perry’s Aerosmith bandmates have posted messages of support, love and encouragement to their guitarist, who is now hospitalized after collapsing backstage while performing with the Hollywood Vampires last night.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry rushed to hospital after the legendary guitarist fell ill mid-song during a gig with super group Hollywood Vampires.

Johnny Depp is also a member of Hollywood Vampires.

A fan who was at the concert shared a video of Perry staggering off stage.

NYPD confirmed that a 65-year-old man was transported to Coney Island Hospital last night. Cooper also tweeted “our brother” Perry was stable and with family.

Perry had been playing with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp as part of the supergroup “Hollywood Vampires” when it happened. At this time no official statements have been released from Joe Perry’s reps regarding the rocker’s current medical condition.

According Billboard.com sources, Perry left the stage during the first song, but the band continued to play.

Perry posted on Twitter just hours before being taken ill: “Warming up with Tommy”.

The band’s Twitter account said: “Joe Perry is stable and resting”. Cooper wrote. “Thanks for supporting Joe!”

Perry and the band, which also features Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver and Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, have been on tour in the US since July 1,
playing seven dates over the past nine days.

Joe Perry was backstage backstage during the Hollywood Vampires show when he passed out. Blink-182 has been added to Monday night’s “Late Show” instead.

Hollywood Vampires are scheduled to tour America throughout July, including at show on Tuesday, July 12 in Kettering, OH.
