Anderson is poised to start the game against the San Diego Chargers, but fantasy owners should expect a split of the carries again. Rivers was sacked four times and the Chargers failed to score a touchdown for the second game in a row. He dropped five in what was the worst performance of his stellar six-year career. Manning’s 59 percent completion rate is the lowest since his rookie season.

The Chargers reluctantly confirmed reports they extended general manager Tom Telesco’s contract during the summer. The team didn’t say why it tried to keep the news quiet….
