The Sanders campaign focuses heavily on economic issues, and the new poll suggests he has boosted his standing on that issue. It looks like the presidential race is becoming even more contentious as we head into the election year.

Denver forced a fumble by Cincinnati quarterback AJ McCarron to win 20-17 in overtime.

“I think it says a lot about our team”, Osweiler said. McCarron mostly knew where the ball would go before each snap, the unit dabbled in some Wildcat and unbalanced line looks and went to halftime with a 14-3 advantage, racking up 205 total yards over their first three drives alone.

McCarron, making his second start in place of Andy Dalton (thumb), had a wrap on his wrist and said the injury would be evaluated further on Tuesday.

All that hard work on that drive–54 yards in six plays–went for naught though, as Broncos placekicker BRANDON MCMANUS sent his 45 yard field goal to the left and nowhere near the goalpost which sent the game to overtime.

“There’s an old saying: ‘It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish, ‘ ” Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler said. McCarron was 12 of 17 for 119 yards with a touchdown and no sacks or interceptions as Cincinnati led 14-3. “It was a hard-fought game”.

Take away their water, the Broncos don’t mind chugging rain. It was recovered by Bengals safety Reggie Nelson.

Once again, the Broncos showed that, at their best, they have the fortitude and talent to dig themselves out of nearly any hole.

Finally, a Brandon McManus field goal late in the second quarter put the Broncos on the board, and set the tone for the furious comeback to come in the second half. Denver then received the ball to start the extra period, and McManus ended that drive with a made field goal.

McCarron said he took his eyes off center Russell Bodine’s snap because he was watching to see how the Denver defense reacted to wide receiver A.J.

On the next possession, Cincinnati went 90 yards in 13 plays, with wide receiver Mohamed Sanu scoring a 7-yard touchdown on direct snap from the wildcat formation. And if that opportunity comes, hopefully the Bengals will have Dalton and Tyler Eifert back in the lineup to secure a Bengals win. There’s basically no turning back now.

They’ve been long out of the playoff hunt, but how in the world John Harbaugh and his staff got his team to upset the Steelers, especially with Ryan Mallett – the disgraced ex-Houston Texan they picked up 11 days earlier – at quarterback is one of the season’s top single-game coaching accomplishments.
