The bombing killed a minimum of 11 Afghan civilians and one foreigner and wounded 66, stated Wahidullah Mayar, a Well being Ministry spokesman. “One Resolute Support contracted civilian was killed in the attack and two others died of wounds as a result of the attack“, he said.
The assault struck close to the personal Shinozada hospital, the sound of the highly effective blast roaring all through the capital.
The suicide bomber, who is thought to have targeted a foreign convoy, killed three North Atlantic Treaty Organisation contractors.
The United States will withhold $300 million in military aid from Pakistan unless more is done to stop Haqqani militants targeting Afghan and U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
Scores of people were killed or wounded in a series of deadly attacks by the Taliban group in capital Kabul earlier this month.
Taliban-led insurgency has gotten momentum since April 24 when the armed group launched its so-called spring offensive in the militancy-plagued Afghanistan. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the January 29, 2015, attack at Kabul global Airport that took the lives of three Praetorian contractors, Matt Fineran, Walter D. Fisher and Jason D. Landphair.
Saturday’s blast blew glass blown out of the windows of the Shinozada hospital and a six-storey building opposite.
