After foreign policy forum, Clinton rebukes Trump for Putin comments
“But you should. None of us is flawless”, Clinton said.

But if you cross-examine Hillary on serious policy and ask Trump to name his favorite color, obviously one candidate’s sound bites will come across better to an uninformed population than the other, and that candidate’s name rhymes with Shmump.
“The public should expect to see and hear from her very often, but the national press corps may be disappointed in how much they’re involved in that communication”, said Jamal Simmons, a Democratic strategist and veteran of the presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton and Al Gore.
In the Republican primaries, Trump’s opponents were repeatedly frustrated by his ability to dominate the news cycle with provocative comments and his failure to suffer any consequences for his words. Clinton rarely touches on the issue of her faith and how it motivates her to serve.
“Just days after the war started, I was quoted as saying the war is a mess”, Trump said, calling it “more evidence that I had opposed the war from the start”. Trump’s critics slammed him for being short on specifics and some hitting Clinton for her defensive demeanor.
“I have said that my voting to give President Bush that authority was, from my perspective, my mistake”, Clinton said. Clinton addressed gun control, criminal justice reform and economic equality during her remarks.
At a rally in North Carolina Thursday afternoon, Clinton said those endorsements have only grown since the forum, arguing that the event was a “test and he failed it”. “He called out One Direction in front of their fans, an army way stronger than Hillary and Trump will ever possess!” he said.
“The court said the North Carolina law was created to target African-Americans with nearly surgical precision”, she said.
With the first debate scheduled for later this month, Clinton’s campaign is trying to ensure that Trump is positioned for a tough evaluation, recognizing that expectations can matter even more than actual performance. An ABC News/Washington Post poll out late last month found that 56% of adults now view Clinton unfavorably. There is a real danger that if Americans do not take their responsibilities more seriously, we will lose our freedoms.
One step in doing this: Having Clinton speak in softer, more humanizing formats such as the blog Humans of NY. Clinton and Trump participated in a wide-ranging forum Wednesday night hosted by NBC/MSNBC, in which Trump seemed to discuss some of what he had learned in his two classified intelligence briefings.
Is the fact that Trump lies about opposing the Iraq war before 2004 when he was a private citizen really more galling than the fact that the former secretary of state is flagrantly dissembling about behavior in high office that would put your typical naval flight officer in Leavenworth? Depending on where voters fall on this scary spectrum, we will have either a president who expands the role and cost of government at the cost of freedom and a vibrant economy or one who blames ethnic and religious scapegoats for problems at home and overseas and uses demagoguery to whip up mobs, endangering minority protections in favor of absolute majority rule.
Clinton’s speeches will focus on laying out what is in the new Clinton campaign book, which has become a bit of a prop for Clinton on the campaign trail.
Asked about a coughing fit in Cleveland, Clinton said she suffered from seasonal allergies and had increased her dosage of antihistamines.

The book retails on Amazon for $10.98 and the campaign has said the proceeds will go to charity.
