After verbal missteps, Trump blames others
Republican Donald Trump is now saying that his description of President Barack Obama as a founder of the Islamic State group was sarcasm. Each time an interviewer asked him if what he really meant was that Obama’s policies created a vacuum that allowed ISIS to gain adherents and victories, he denied that and reiterated that he meant what he said – that Obama was the Islamist group’s founder.

The post was a reversal from just a day ago, when Trump said in a number of interviews that he was indeed serious about the charge.
Trump has drawn criticism from Democrats this week for falsely claiming that Obama helped start the notorious extremist group.
“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS”.
“I mean, what happens when he presses the nuclear button and then the next day says, “Oh, I’m sorry, I was just being sarcastic”?”.
Then an about-face Friday.
Trump seemed to revel in the uncertainty his tweet created, boasting almost 90 minutes later of pundits’ inability to figure him out.
Or was he being sarcastic about the sarcasm? Donald Trump now says he was just being sarcastic.
The list includes a verbal battle with the Pakistani-American family and more recently a provocative remark about “Second Amendment people” stopping Hillary Clinton from appointing liberal Supreme Court Justices. “However, normal candidates don’t careen from one self-inflicted wound to another on an hourly basis”.
After he saw the response to his words, he said he was only joking, and spokesmen said he meant that Second Amendment supporters could act to get people out to vote so she could not win the election. She’s hammered him for avoiding accountability for his actions.
Hours later, Trump was mocking people for taking him so seriously, prompting a whole new wave of stories. The filing shows that the Clintons earned $10.6 million and paid a federal tax rate of 34.2 percent a year ago.
HH: I don’t. I think I would say they created, they lost the peace. All major USA presidential candidates in modern history have released their returns.
Donald Trump plans to return to Wisconsin next week and once again the state’s top Republican leaders won’t be there.
Trump worked to profit on the fuss over his Islamic State remark.
“If at the end of 90 days I fall in short because I’m somewhat politically incorrect even though I’m supposed to be the smart one and even though I’m supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it’s okay”, Trump continued.
Trump’s love-hate relationship with the media has been a central theme throughout his campaign.
Yet on Thursday, Trump was reduced to citing a poll that actually showed him a few points behind Clinton and arguing the race between them was close.
Trump, a NY businessman who has never held elected office, has been mired in repeated controversies in recent days.
STAR OF DAVID: In July, Trump’s campaign tweeted an anti-Clinton message that seemed to show the Star of David atop a pile of cash, raising questions about anti-Semitism.
He said Clinton’s campaign is smart to keep her out of the spotlight. I don’t know. But-but I’ll tell you what.
CRIMEA RIVER: Heads spun in the foreign policy world when Trump said this month that Russian Federation wouldn’t enter Ukraine, seemingly unaware it already had.
Clinton’s campaign on Thursday morning responded to the “false claim” by Mr. Trump that Obama founded the Islamic State and accused Trump of “trash-talking the United States”. He insisted he’d said nothing incorrect.

Republican sources earlier this month said Priebus was furious over Trump’s failure to endorse House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan and his feud with the parents of a Muslim American soldier killed in Iraq. His comments were taken to mean that he was either urging political violence by gun rights advocates, or even calling for her assassination.
