After winning Emmy, “Transparent” creator Jill Soloway compares Trump to Hitler”

Transparent creator Jill Soloway, an Emmy victor for comedy directing, called Donald Trump “the most risky monster to ever approach our lifetime”. He’s otherizing people. He calls women pigs if they don’t look like beauty pageant contestants.

He thanked Soloway in his acceptance speech: “You changed my life, you changed my career and you changed everything”.

Solloway then concluded her speech by asking people to end the violence against transwomen and more importantly, “To topple the patriarchy!” People ask me if it’s hard to be a director, and I tell them, ‘no.’ Life is very hard.

Shortly after Soloway spoke and everyone blew into their tissues, Transparent actor Jeffrey Tambor accepted his award for Best Actor in a TV series, Comedy or Musical and made us weep all over again. Being a good partner, being a good mother, being a good person is hard. “I get to make my dreams come true”. “The subjects instead of the objects, you change the world, we found out”.

“Jews were otherized in Nazi Germany to gain political power for Hitler, and right now Donald Trump is doing the same thing”, said Soloway, who is Jewish, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
