Age Of Mythology: Tale Of The Dragon Expansion Announced

Age of Mythology transports players to a time when heroes did battle with monsters of legend and the gods intervened in the affairs of mortals.

Now I know this term is bandied around a lot, but the Age of Empires RTS games and their spin-offs are timeless. After a break of over 10 years, an extended version of the game was released by Steam in May 2014 which revived the lost love for the game among fans.

Technically, the Extended Edition actually only came out last year and so it isn’t really the “13 year old game” the announcement blog post is claiming it is, but it’s still not every day HD remakes get brand new content, so I’ll allow it. Now, over a decade later, it’s getting another side to play as, as part of an expansion called Tale of the Dragon.

Players can expect new buildings, units, and godly powers for players to smite their foes.

SkyBox Labs and Forgotten Empires have worked with each other before.

Age of Mythology” received its first expansion “Age of Mythology: The Titan” back in 2003.
