Elena Rodriquez-the speedy Slingshot-played Natalia Cordova-Buckley (McFarland, USA) will make her Agents of SHIELD debut when the season returns.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has plenty of Marvel-ous surprises in store for Season 3’s 2016 return, from Secret Warriors to Inhumans, and now another familiar face has been set in stone. This earned her the nickname Yo-Yo, although she later went by the superhero name Slingshot. Though the character’s name has been changed, the show is still taking inspiration from the character whose super speed slingshots her back to her starting point.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell. William Sadler reprises his presidential role first seen in “Iron Man 3” and again in news footage on “S.H.I.E.L.D.” earlier this season. The other big feature is the mention of Daisy’s Secret Warriors, who with an influx of new Inhumans continuing to flood the globe, are going to have a pretty steep learning curve ahead of them.
