Agent Carter’s latest adventure has come to a close and that means that it’s time to return to the present to rejoin Daisy, Coulson, and the rest of the Agents of SHIELD crew.

But hey, what happens in Maveth stays in Maveth, right? To be fair, there’s a good chance Will was a goner as soon as the evil Inhuman possessed him, but that doesn’t make Fitz feel any better about it.

It remains to be seen whether S.H.I.E.L.D. will be able to reunite the warriors to fight the danger never before seen. Dude deserved to have his chest crushed to death. They also deal (or don’t deal, as the case may be) with the emotional fallout of their decisions on Maveth, with Coulson coldly saying, “Sometimes there’s no choice but the hard choice”.

In the clip from the midseason premiere, “Bouncing Back”, Coulson and Fitz discuss the possibility of using the Theta Brain-Wave Frequency Machine, which he used to recover his lost memories of the T.A.H.I.T.I. project, on someone else who may know more about Malick.

Even though Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s future is secure, that show could be very different next season, if Marvel’s Most Wanted is picked up. However, the growing presence of Inhumans proves to be a polarizing issue, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team must face conflicting public opinions and defend their team from groups who have a more extreme ideology. However, Ward is no longer the same villainous traitor that they once knew, and the team faces an all-new enemy, whose motivations, goals and strengths are unclear. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television, and is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. And are you happy that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is getting another season?
