City twice had to come from behind with goals from their Argentinian striker to salvage a 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday evening.

Aguero then found himself in the frustrating position of being an unused substitute for City’s next match against Sunderland but has since started every fixture ahead of the third-placed club’s Premier League match away to West Ham today.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed the extent of his attempts to lure Barcelona maestro and close friend Lionel Messi to Manchester. But to be fair Manchester City have struggled on the road this season and this is another very tough game against an inform team.

“In some games, especially playing away, we haven’t been able to score”.

One clever reverse pass from the French playmaker sent Michail Antonio racing through, and Martin Demichelis earned himself a yellow card for halting the winger’s dart towards goal. “We lost with a throw-in after Fabian Delph had shot to the post it comes in the next play and that brought the goal”.

Pellegrini is keen to see the attacking football from his side continue, and said: “We must try to arrive as soon as we can at the top of the table”.

“We were fantastic as a team and as individuals”.

West Ham could still have snatched victory had Kouyate’s stoppage-time header from Mark Noble’s free kick not clipped the crossbar.

Bilic added that he was proud of his side’s “fantastic” display against the team he believes is the most risky in the league.

“So I told him that Manchester is ideal as a city because you stay at home all day, you play every three days”.

The injury prone player has missed 11 games this season and also missed 27 in the previous two seasons.

However, with 10 minutes remaining and West Ham defending deeper and deeper, City substitute Kelechi Iheanacho ran unchecked into the area.

“He will start working I hope next week, but he has a couple of weeks more”.

“Right now I feel fit and well”, Aguero told Sky Sports News yesterday. “I’m happy to hear those words and it’s even better when it’s your manager who is speaking positively about you”, he said.
