Ahead of his Boston finale, Kobe Bryant says green his favorite color
Kobe Bryant’s farewell game in Charlotte turned into a 108-98 victory Monday for the hometown Hornets against the Los Angeles Lakers before a record crowd at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Barring an NBA Final between the Celtics and L.A., this game will mark No.24’s last appearance on the parquet floor in his 20-year Hall of Fame career with the Lakers.
“You have been a big help to the game of basketball”, Jordan said. “I just wanted to make big plays”.
“When you are obsessed with something, you leave yourself open to be hurt by it. But when you give yourself up to that and get results it’s great”.
The Kobe Bryant Farewell Tour made its first of two stops in Memphis on Sunday night, and it went about as well as the entire season has gone for the Lakers.
Jordan ended the video by wishing Bryant luck before the Hornets PA announcer sent Kobe onto the court with a rousing introduction. “The best thing you can do on a possession is shoot a free throw, that’s by the numbers”.
As such, Jordan offered Bryant some brotherly advice and warned it may not be easy to figure out what to do after leaving his professional career. I processed it pretty quickly and realized what was going on.
A Laker who has often said he bleeds purple and gold loves the color of that team’s bitter foe?
“Nothing different”, Lakers coach Byron Scott said of Bryant.
“I would have loved to play overseas for a season”.
Zeller has put in solid back-to-back games for the Hornets while starting at center in place of Al Jefferson, who is still working back into shape after an injury and a five-game suspension.
If this isn’t one of the greatest examples of real recognizing real, I don’t know what is. In a lot of cases, they sound more like his fans. The Hornets pulled away midway through the fourth quarter behind Walker and Nick Batum (15 points).
No Eastern Conference team averages more 3-point attempts than the Charlotte Hornets, and that’s something coach Steve Clifford would like to cut down on.
For all the boos and “Beat L-A” chants directed at Bryant over the years at TD Garden, Vujacic believes the Celtics fans will deliver a positive reaction when he plays his last game in Boston on Wednesday. Of course, this was due in large part to the fact that Thomas’s son, Isaiah Thomas, is the Celtics’ point guard.
Tellem, well-known in National Basketball Association circles as a hardball negotiator, guaranteed two days ago that Bryant would not be a Hornet under any circumstances.

Bryant will get his fill Wednesday night when he visits the Lakers’ eternal rival, the Boston Celtics, for the final time.
