Ahmad Bradshaw back with Colts, signs one-year deal
The Colts announced Wednesday that the injury-riddled running back agreed to terms to return to Indianapolis.

Frank Gore has played well for the Colts as the starting running back, but there wasn’t much depth behind him.
Bradshaw rushed for 725 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games for the Colts in 2014 before sustaining a season-ending broken left leg in a game against the New England Patriots in November.
Bradshaw spent the past two seasons with the Colts but finished both years on injured reserve. Bradshaw led National Football League running backs in touchdown receptions a year ago with six despite not playing the entire season.
The Colts are likely looking for a viable backup behind Gore, especially since the run game could be a crucial factor, as it gets closer to the postseason.
Head coach Chuck Pagano praised Bradshaw last week after Bradshaw had worked out for the team. “I think everybody in this room and everybody in our locker room and this organization knew what he did for our football team and what kind of toughness and energy and passion that he brings”. He’s a tone setter. He’s a great, great player.

Unfortunately, injuries have told the story in Bradshaw’s time with the Colts.
