AIADMK worker’s ‘lungi’ catches fire during protest against Vijayakanth
Vijayakanth, additionally the Opposition Leader in state Assembly, questioned how police permission was granted to stage a protest outdoors his home as they’re allowed exclusively at particular places in the town. “Are you journalists”, he said with an apparent “thoo” to criticize the scribes.

Explaining the incident, Jayalalithaa said at a protest meeting headed by Vijayakanth in Thanjavur, a flex board carrying his picture was removed by his own supporters as it blocked the view, as a result of which they could not see him.
