Air bomb threat grounds Florida flight

JetBlue Airlines is now offering nonstop service from Charleston worldwide Airport to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. All passenger on board were evacuated and no injuries have been reported.

JetBlue serves Washington’s Reagan in northern Virginia, NY City’s John F. Kennedy global Airport, Boston’s Logan worldwide and now Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood worldwide Airport with six daily arrivals and departures.

Approximately 15 minutes into the flight, the jet turned around and returned to the airport where it made an emergency landing.

But authorities say there was no bomb. Two men are being questioned in the incident, officials said.

According officials, around 10 p.m. a Spirit Airlines flight left took off from Florida bound for Minnesota.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday morning, four people were taken off a Spirit Airlines flight from Balitmore-to-Chicago shortly before take-off. “The flight crew made a decision to return to the gate because of a security issue on board. Law enforcement is investigating possible suspicious activity”.
