An Air France plane which arrived at Moi International Airport, Mombasa, Kenya Sunday Dec. 20, 2015 to pick passengers after a bomb scare on their earlier flight from Mauritius.
Benoit Lucchini of Paris, one of the 459 passengers, spoke with journalists in Mombasa, stating, “The personnel of Air France was just great, they were just wonderful”.
It was found by a passenger in a cabinet behind the restroom mirror, he said.
The hoax – the fourth against Air France in recent weeks – comes amid heightened concerns about extremist violence in many countries, and aggravated passenger jitters around the holidays. “So they keep everybody calm and really quiet”.
So-called Islamic State (IS) said it carried out the attacks in response to France’s military action in Syria. We didn’t know what was happening actually.
