Air NZ ‘Men in Black’ video goes viral
AIR New Zealand has released its latest safety video with no expenses spared, this time calling on the All Blacks in a hilarious Men In Black routine.

Other global rugby stars make cameos, such as former England Captain Martin Johnson and former Captain of the Argentine team Agustin Pichot. “It’s been exciting to help Air New Zealand bring the Men in Black universe to life in this unique way”, Sony Pictures Entertainment executive vice president Emmanuelle Borde said.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the airline has got everyone talking with their safety videos.
The lengths to which the All Blacks will go to reinforce their mythology are expressed by their “blackest ever” boots.
Running with the Men in Black theme, Richie McCaw and the team are looking sharp in black suits as they dance and rap their way through the safety instructions. “The result is not only entertaining but makes people sit up and take notice of the key safety messages”, she says.
There hadn’t been any formal discussions but he expected the museum to be involved in developing the All Blacks Experience, Mr Berg said.
“We had a lot of laughs on set and were blown away by Israel’s hidden singing talent. If rugby doesn’t work out for him he clearly has a promising career as a back-up singer”, McCaw said.
The airline’s latest video, Men In Black Safety Defenders, it is being rolled out across its fleet from today.

There can be no surer guarantee of public angst here than an All Blacks defeat, and the reaction to last Saturday’s 27-19 defeat by the Wallabies has been withering.
