Siberia Airlines did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to Mashable, the unnamed male was on a Siberia Airlines flight earlier this week from Hong Kong to Vladivostok, Russia.

The man in a red t-shirt is struck by another man before more passengers join in and he’s completely overwhelmed.

Footage of the incident shows a group of three or four men overpowering another passenger.

The man was detained by local police upon arrival in Vladivostock, the report adds.

Did the passengers go overboard by kicking and punching this guy into submission? However, he will face one count of public intoxication and one count of disorderly conduct which can carry a sentence of up to 15 days in prison or a fine of 2,500 rubles (£28).

Shouts of “beat him” rang out as the man was restrained. Other passengers then joined in and Pautov had his legs and wrists bound together by Scotch tape and seatbelts.

An enraged Pautov then allegedly lunged at the crew member who tried to put him away but passengers stepped in and shielded the flight attendant from his assailant’s wrath.
