Aishwarya’s ‘Sarbjit’ to be screened at Cannes
She was spotted on the night of May 12 at Mumbai airport, flying to Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport just a day before her scheduled red carpet appearance at Cannes.

For her first appearance at the ongoing festival, the actress opted for a studded champagne coloured couture gown by Kuwait’s designer Ali Younes.
Adding a dash of glamour to her red carpet look, she had lined her upper lid with a bold turquoise blue liner, complementing it with a smokey blue eyeshadow and bold lashes, said a statement.
As the Indian contingent at the 69th Cannes Film Festival welcomes Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, other B-town stars are doing their bit in and around the Palais des Festivals. Mother Brinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya accompanied her as ever. Two of the most lauded films of Cannes are the ones helmed by British director Andrea Arnold and German director Maren Ade.
Tanvi: “Urban rich: Aishwarya’s lips look like she had black current ice cream”. She looked ravishing in red in the ensemble from Khan’s Resort 2016 collection. While she got it right with her gowns, her makeup was too dramatic.
She then wore an Elie Saab gown, turning heads on the red carpet white attending the premiere of Steven Spielberg’s The BFG. Actress and filmmaker Lupita Nyong’o has never played safe with her lip colours. The actress was earlier meeting with press in her role as a global ambassador for cosmetics giant L’Oreal Paris and to promote her forthcoming Bollywood film Sarbjit. The film was premeired at the prestigious film festival. The talented actress is making it a habit to be a part of movies that are featured at Cannes and this definitely won’t be the last time we see her at the festival.
