Ajith visits Tirupati for Vedalam success

Thala Ajith made a surprise visit to Tirupathi Balaji temple today early morning (7 November) ahead of the release of his film “Vedalam” directed by Siva.

Already Audio songs of this movie received huge response from the audience, It has done superb pre-release business after collecting Rs 35 Cr. The movie’s trailer may release tomorrow or on Sunday. Interestingly, Trisha too is said to be playing a police officer and her name is Mallika.

He has also urged all movie lovers to watch this film in theatres, which according to him, will subsequently justify the efforts put in by the entire team of Vedalam in order to release this film for Diwali.

With just one song on screen, “Thoonagavanam” is a movie that is more focused on the technical aspects of filmmaking and sound. The pace of the story will be key and the action will be more like Hollywood.

The two directors are quite different. Kamal Haasan’s film will be director Rajesh Selva’s debut film but he has worked with the star as an assistant director in several films earlier. The movie is directed by Siruthai Siva and the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by A M Rathnam, the movie is releasing in maximum screens this Deepavali.

Actor Ajith’s latest flick Vedalam starring himself Shruti Haasan in the lead roles and Lakshmi Menon, Ashwin, Thambi Ramaiah, Soori, Kabir Dulhan Singh and Rahul Dev in prominent characters.

Denying reports which suggested that it is a ghost film, Siva says, “It will be a complete family entertainer with commercial elements”. He will undergoing surgery on his knee and shoulder at a private hospital here on November 24, and is now walking on crutches. He has worked with Ajith in “Veeram” and knows what works for the star.
