The Pakistan selectors have made a decision to include Umar Akmal in the Twenty20 global squad to face England in a three-match series in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the sources, Umar Akmal was given clean-chit by the Pakistan Cricket Board officials following Akmal’s denial of having attended any “dance party” in Hyderabad.
Akmal was reportedly caught when there was a police raid in the late night dance party.
The PCB sent him a show-cause notice to which Umar replied that he went to have dinner that night but after taking due permission from the team manager of his domestic team.
“I don’t think there is enough healing to allow him to play global cricket at this stage for the fear of further damaging the joint”, Dr Sohail Saleem, head of PCB’s Medical & Sports Sciences, said in a statement.
Wasim has played five ODIs and as many T20Is, impressing with a last-over six to guide Pakistan to victory against Sri Lanka in a T20I in August.
“Subsequent to his being cleared by the inquiry initiated by the PCB’s security and vigilance department with regard to media reports of an incident in Hyderabad, Umar Akmal has been inducted in the T20Is squad against England”, a PCB release said on Friday (November 20).
“Now that [Umar] has been cleared after an inquiry into the Hyderabad incident, he has been included in the squad with Iftikhar Ahmed being called back”, chief selector Haroon Rashid said in statement.
“We had said before if he is cleared by the police he will be included in the T20 squad”, Sethi said.

Umar Akmal has chose to stay tight lipped on the issue and told journalists that he cannot comment on the matter and expressed his hopes that he will join the team in Dubai to play against England.
