Al Roker apologizes for ‘insensitive’ selfie amid South Carolina flooding
The meteorologist tweeted a photo of himself and NBC colleagues wearing slickers and grinning in front of a portion of collapsed highway and a wrecked vehicle.

He included a later twitter, “We came to document but i slighted individuals who misplaced and so much”.
Al Roker recently made a selfie with his peers because have been regardling the overweight pours down and puddles in South Carolina.
Roker said the woman inside the stuck vehicle got out safely – but the photo was still in poor taste, he admitted.
“Absolutely right. I express regret to get without sensation. I am sorry”, Roker tweeted Monday. “We Should not have been in the picture”, he wrote. Roker was reporting on flooding that has killed nine people so far.
Almost 500 roads remained closed this week, and approximately 1,000 residents are still in temporary shelters. While the named system missed the East Coast it created a “fire hose” of tropical moisture that aimed directly at the state.
SUNY Oswego alumnus Al Roker has apologized for what he admits was an “insensitive” photo while covering the historic flooding in South Carolina.
