Alabama RB Kenyan Drake leaves with arm injury

He jokingly offered to “put in” part of Auburn’s playbook to help Nick Saban’s team prepare for the Iron Bowl, and said a 50-point spread probably wouldn’t be enough.

Alabama running back Kenyan Drake suffered a brutal injury in the Crimson Tide’s blowout win over Mississippi State.

On the other hand this might be a chance to get Bo Scarborough a few valuable playing time since he will probably be Alabama’s featured back next year if Derrick Henry enters the draft. He’s an able receiver and forces defenses to contain him when he’s in on passing downs.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said Monday that Drake underwent successful surgery Sunday to fix his fractured right arm.

Drake has run for 333 yards and a touchdown while catching 21 passes for 234 yards and a score.

The challenge is neither can exactly replicate what Drake brings to the table.

Both Harris and Scarbrough ranked as five-star recruits coming out of high school so the talent is there. “I’m confident they can step in and pick up Drake’s slack”. He might not have any choice once Alabama gets past Charleston Southern.
