Here is a breakdown of Tuesday’s CFP rankings with each team’s path to the playoffs. As of now, anyway.

In short, Colorado should be ahead of both these teams if the Buffs win out.
Entering Week 11 of the 2016 College Football Season, the College Football Playoff Committee had the top four teams as Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and Washington. I moved Ohio State up to No. 2 on my ballot, followed by Clemson – sure the Tigers have been dodging upsets, but their only loss is now on a last-second FG – and then MI.
“The Game” will actually take place on November 26 in front of a sold out Ohio Stadium.
The only thing left to discover is who Nick Saban’s team will face when the dust settles and the playoff is ready to begin.
Michigan’s loss Saturday came on the road at Iowa.
“Michigan is the only team with three wins against current CFP top 10 (teams)”, Hocuff said.
Wisconsin remained at No. 7, while Penn State moved up to No. 8 from No. 10. Another 62-3 victory, this time at Maryland, combined with a number of upsets in the top 10, allowed Ohio State to vault to No. 2. MI was slotted at No. 3, Clemson at No. 4, while Louisville and Washington were placed at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Clemson 9-1 1304 3 6. The Buckeyes replace Washington in the top four after the Huskies lost to USC and fell to sixth.
The Huskies were among last week’s Top 4 teams to fall as well. While it’s inexplicable that the Mountaineers are No. 14, any aggravation from the WVU fanbase shouldn’t last very long. Yeah, they’ve had a lot of close games to decent opponents. The Nittany Lions climb four positions to round out the top 10.
New to the top 25: Navy, LSU and Troy.

They’ve won at Auburn, vs Louisville and at Florida State. Wyoming is a home underdog to San Diego State this week. If the Wolverines win their next two games (including that season finale against Ohio State), they’ll win the Big Ten East and have a great shot at the playoffs.
Despite being undefeated, Western Michigan’s remaining schedule might not impress enough to move the Broncos up.
Now, WSU (8-2 overall, 7-0 Pac-12) will try to improve its conference record to 8-0, and extend its win streak to nine games for the first time since the 1930 season.
