Strange, who has been trailing in recent polls, is clinging to Trump’s personal endorsement and millions from a super PAC backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Jan Morgan, a spokeswoman for the Citizens for Trump grass-roots group, said “the president was ill-advised when he made his decision”.
But at the Moore rally Thursday, the speakers, including former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, tried to keep the focus on Congress anyway.
“You remember how Trump said he could shoot someone in broad daylight and people would still vote for him?”
“Drain that swamp! This is our line in the sand, Alabama!”

“Think about who you have on the other side”, said former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka as he campaigned for Moore.
No moderator or panel of questioners would have tolerated Luther Strange’s endless, redundant references to his support from the president and the vice president, which reached a point at which no one would have been surprised had Big Luther just chanted “Make America Great Again” for an entire five-minute segment.
“Mr. President and Mr. V.P., I love you”, the sign read. “America needs Judge Moore”.
On Thursday night, the two candidates vying for Trump’s mantle faced off in the only debate before Tuesday’s runoff election.
Do the voters of Alabama need a senator who’s friends with President Donald Trump?
President Trump is set to visit the state Friday and will hold a rally in support of unusual. If Moore is the nominee, will the Washington-based PAC’s continue to shell out the funds for him as they have done for odd? “It’s absolutely insulting to the president”.
In September 2016, after numerous ethics complaints, the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission found Moore guilty of six ethics charges in connection with his refusal to comply with “binding federal law”, and he was suspended for the remainder of his term on the Alabama Supreme Court. What’s going to bring us back together?
“I didn’t hear anything about the issues or any solutions or anything he’s going to do to help the president”, unusual said. Luther Strange and conservative challenger Judge Roy Moore. “We voted for a big lovely Wall”. It’s for the big, lovely movement that we’re all a part of.
“We voted to get rid of Obamacare”, she continued. “A man endorsed by Mitch McConnell”.

“I don’t know if it’s going to help Luther Strange at all”, Moore told Fox News. The antithesis of the political establishment, he added, is Moore, twice removed as chief justice (once for refusing to remove a monument bearing the Ten Commandments and later for telling county clerks to disregard the U.S. Supreme Court ruling permitting same-sex marriage).
