Alabama basketball bounced back from yesterday’s loss to upset the 20th-ranked Wichita State Shockers, 64-60, at the AdvoCare Invitational on Friday.

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman tweeted Friday night that Gregg Marshall said Grady has a spinal concussion and should be better in a day or so. The school said he was alert and responsive during the trip to the hospital.
As Grady turned to run up the court, his chin struck an opposing player, causing his head to rotate to one side. They’ve played smart, knowing when and where to pick spots and recognizing different defensive schemes teams have thrown at them over the course of the game.
The Tide would again respond, this time with back-to-back threes from Shannon Hale and Riley Norris to retake the lead, 58-55, and never trailed again.
