Alabama vs. Clemson: Point Spread & Over-Under
Sure, McCaffrey didn’t win the Heisman Trophy, and Stanford barely missed out on the College Football Playoff.

All the prodding and promoting wasn’t enough to convince many fans to tune in.
The Vegas line for the national title game is much closer than the spread for the Cotton Bowl.
Clemson (14-0) dominated the second half and shut down Oklahoma’s high-scoring offense, which had averaged 52 points over its last seven contests. The number of viewers dropped 44.5 per cent from 28,164,000 for the Rose to just 15,640,000 for the Orange. It’s just it was somewhat evident that Michigan State may not have actually been one of the four best teams in the country. Total viewership crashed 34.4 per cent, going from 28,271,000 to 18,552,000. It’s this grim determinedness, though, that has him on the verge of becoming perhaps the greatest college football coach in the history of the sport.
“It’s just not appropriate to talk until all the results are in”.
As with the majority of the Alabama football coach’s public displays of emotion that vaguely resemble joy, it was brief and pointed and wracked with awkwardness, which was also how Saban’s brief celebratory “dance” with the Alabama marching band came across a short time later. This year, we wanted to take the game, and I really thought our guys had a vision of what they wanted, and everybody paid the price in what they had to do in preparation. It’s more of a front 11 or 12 with how many linemen the Tide are able to rotate in the game at any given time.
Heck, with what the Tigers’ run to the title game has meant to the program in so many ways, financially and otherwise, such a fancy affair would be a drop in the bucket for a school that’s waited a long time to return to national prominence.
The Crimson Tide found success this season by taking away their opponent’s go-to players on offense, but Clemson isn’t as one dimensional as other Alabama foes such as Tennessee, Mississippi State and Michigan State.
The matchups of this year’s games weren’t as attractive and both turned out to be lopsided.
The Tigers romped in the second half for a 37-17 win over No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, while the Crimson Tide rolled Michigan State 38-0 in the Cotton Bowl.
In a game billed as a battle of two of the top defenses in the Big Ten and Southeastern Conference, the Wolverines’ offense shined bright in their first bowl victory since 2012.
Ford said those who picked Oklahoma to win, “didn’t know what they were talking about”.
“It shouldn’t be real hard to get guys ready to play for the National Championship”. “If you have that many players who play, it really doesn’t matter who calls the defense, to be honest”.
The Spartans are expected to begin lifting again January 12.
Henry had 20 carries for 75 yards and two scores, and he now has 2,061 yards this season.
Those games have their own separate TV deals with ESPN and they were set before the playoff was finalized. Well, I’m not gonna say that, because obviously they beat us 38-zip. Not because I care about television ratings, or because it ruins my plans for New Year’s Eve.
Social networks were virtually silent about the games compared to the year before.
With a powerful offensive line and a sturdy defense, they also ruined the first trip to Pasadena in 25 years for the Hawkeyes (12-2), who followed up their remarkable 12-0 regular season with two postseason losses. The team held its senior send-off, with players exchanging thanks and appreciation for one another before the seniors exited the room.

Yet the illogic did add up to logic, for here comes a final with two of the season’s most towering elements, banging against one another. “No one’s ever done it. So we would be the best ever”.
