Alan Pardew believes Christian Benteke can be iconic Crystal Palace player
Belgium worldwide Christian Benteke has completed his move to Crystal Palace from Liverpool.

The Belgium worldwide had always been linked with a move to Selhurst Park and has now signed a four-year deal with Palace to end his time at Liverpool.
Palace have agreed a £32m fee with Liverpool for the Belgian, according to Sky sources, with Pardew also revealing that personal terms still have to be agreed with the player.
“That’s something that didn’t always happen at Newcastle, so I’m pleased the board has been fearless with his move”.
‘He is someone I know very well as I wanted to take him to Newcastle. I thought he’d be a fantastic fit for that club.
Remy is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge as reports continue to link him with a move away, and long-term admirers Palace are ready to resurrect their interest.
“For us, we need to get him back to doing what he does best. He’s a great crosser of the ball, and that bodes well if we can sign a new player”.
“We were so unfortunate with that [late goal], but I can’t fault my players today – they gave me everything”, he told Sky Sports. But he’s not our player yet.
Yannick Bolasie moving to Everton created even more of a need for Crystal Palace to secure a reliable goalscorer, and armed with extra cash from Liverpool’s locals rivals, a deal seemed inevitable.
The striker, 25, is on the verge of joining Palace for a club-record £27million plus £5million in add-ons to conclude Pardew’s summer-long pursuit. “We’ve agreed everything with Liverpool”, Pardew said.
Palace are yet to get off the mark two games into the new Premier League season having lost 1-0 to West Bromwich Albion on the opening weekend.

“We had a thrust about us, a belief and, of course, that came from the way we’ve played and from Christian’s arrival”, Pardew insisted when asked about his side’s performance at White Hart Lane.
