“With the FA Cup final two weeks away, this would be a timely moment to make certain of their status”.

Crystal Palace have fined Lee Chung-Yong after he was quoted accusing Alan Pardew of forgetting how many substitutes he has left to chose from.

Despite reaching the FA Cup final, Alan Pardew is keen for Crystal Palace to end their season strongly as they prepare to face Stoke.

The Eagles are set to play eleven-time winners Manchester United at Wembley on May 21, in a repeat of the 1990 cup final. We’ve not stolen into the final, we’ve had to beat some good teams to get there.

Palace won their last game in the league for over two months thanks to Connor Wickham’s first club goal, when he converted a penalty before Bojan Krkic also scored from the spot. He said it got lost in translation, that can happen and I’ve had it before.

“At the top clubs it’s had an impact definitely”.

“Leicester have shattered the glass ceiling, and I thought it was impossible to break”.

“It would be fantastic for him and his family, but also for the other lads in the academy to see someone from their group has gone in and the manager has played them”.

“We need to get a win in the league, so our priority is Stoke”.

In five previous meetings in the Premier League, Crystal Palace have the advantage with three wins compared to the Potters’ one, with one game ending in a draw.

“Football isn’t all logic”.

“It’s not easy to keep minds off the cup, because for our level it’s a unique position for a lot of the players, so it’s an adjustment”. It’s nearly like some stardust has fallen on Leicester City Football Club – great for them.

“Some of us who have been here before know how to treat it, but for others it’s hard”.
