Alan Pardew says Crystal Palace have no interest in Charlie Austin
Former Palace boss Warnock worked with Austin during a month-long stint in temporary charge of Rangers earlier this month.

Alan Pardew has told reporters at his press conference this afternoon that Crystal Palace are tracking one or two players in the January transfer window.
Pardew revealed that Palace are now working on deals for a couple of players but said any targets mentioned in the media have been wide of the mark.
“Neil Warnock was the manager here and he didn’t do very well so I am not really interested in his opinion”, Pardew said. Charlie Austin is of no interest to us’.
Palace are on the look out for a striker, and they have been linked with a host of names.
Out of all the Premier League teams, only Arsenal can better Pardew’s away record in the period of time Pardew has been at Selhurst Park.
Palace highest scoring striker is Gayle, who has got on the scoresheet on four occasions, but all of his goals have come in the Capital One Cup. We would all like another striker.
Palace performed above and beyond what was expected last term, with Pardew becoming the first manager in Premier League history to take a club from the relegation zone to a top-half finish.
“They have a couple of injuries and a suspension that’s going to impact upon selection, but make no mistake, I’ve managed down there and that crowd makes a difference”.

‘We’re in a position where we can perhaps can be a little more relaxed about it. There is a little less pressure. Steve Parish (the Palace CEO) and myself are in contact every day about the issues we feel we have’.
