Alan Partridge Idea Becomes Reality As ‘Youth Hostelling With Chris Eubank
Apparently the eccentric former boxer had no idea why people kept asking him about youth hostels until recently, but now he has been persuaded to star in a trailer for the hypothetical show, commissioned by – you guessed it – Hostelworld.

The minute-long trailer shows Eubank checking into a hostel, testing out its bunk beds and taking advantage of its free wi-fi, before branding his overall experience “splendid” and “extraordinary”.
“The key thing in life is to be humble”.
Chris said: “Up until recently, I had absolutely no idea why people used to mention hostels to me and smile, It was truly an unsolved mystery to me”.
Chris Eubank has finally made Alan Partridge’s TV show suggestion “Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank” a reality in an advert for Hostelworld.
Of course, it’s all a stunt for booking site Hostelworld, but this doesn’t make me love it any less – somewhere, somehow, a PR executive convinced their boss to blow their budget on an adaptation of an Alan Partridge quote.

Partridge, played by Steve Coogan, puts across a number of ideas during a 1997 episode of the hit comedy where he resorts to increasingly desperate programme pitches after being told he can not have a second series of his chat show.
