Service from Seattle to Indianapolis and Wichita, Kansas were announced today.
According to Alaska’s website, the main-cabin fare on the inaugural flight to Seattle is $169 one way. The return flight to Seattle will leave at 6:10 p.m. and arrive at 7:55 p.m. local time.
Tickets for the new route are on sale now.
Wichita Mayor Jeff Longwell said in a news release that the added trip will benefit the city’s aviation businesses in particular. “Alaska is a flawless complement to our first-class terminal and mix of air service offered at Eisenhower National Airport”. Pacific Northwest-inspired food and beverages will be served on-board.
The new nonstop service is the first year-round flight to Seattle in Indy’s airport. “As the Air Capital of the World, Wichita is a natural addition to our ever expanding service offerings”.
