In a recent event of a star-studded affair, People’s Choice Awards 2016 was organized on Sunday where the supernatural drama “Teen Wolf” bagged two awards in the category of Choice Summer TV Show.
Timberlake, 35, referenced boxing great Muhammad Ali in his speech and urged teenagers to “be part of the solution, not part of the problem”.
The award coincides with the 10-year anniversary of his 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds.
One Direction won Choice music single for a group with Home as well as taking home Choice music group.
It was there that he focused not on himself, but instead on inspiring the teens in attendance, who were screeching at full volume for Timberlake while he stood there, colorful award surfboard in hand.
A recognisable British face in the celebrity crowd was Brooklyn Beckham, who attended the award show with his girlfriend, actress Chloe Grace Moretz, who was named the victor of the Choice Movie Actress Comedy category.
After Ne-Yo’s performance Alba again asked the audience to think about the lives of the young people on stage who were affected by gun violence.
The group on stage then introduced themselves to the crowd.
The 18th annual ceremony kicked off with Cena and Justice respectively dressed as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
The British actress was named Movie Breakout Star for her role as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The Can’t Stop The Feeling star added: “Service for others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.
“Oh my God, this is so scary”.
Grimmie was the former contestant from “The Voice” who was shot and killed by an obsessed fan in June.
“It feels incredible to be in this category with fantastic people, especially my boy John”.
