Alberto Del Rio Reportedly Finished With WWE

Del Rio on his way out of the WWE? Del Rio returned to the company in the best physical condition of his career and his in-ring matches have been entertaining but with little storylines, it has been impossible for him to work his way up the card. They report Del Rio’s lawyer informed WWE 60 days ago he was opting out of the deal, meaning his suspension occurred several weeks after he gave notice in late June.

WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio was one of three wrestling stars who received a 30-day suspension for violating the company’s Wellness Policy. The joke led to an altercation between the employee and Del Rio.

There are a few options for Del Rio once he leaves the WWE, including longtime wrestling promotion TNA which is now under new ownership in the form of Billy Corgan after former President Dixie Carter has found herself on the way out of the company.

Del Rio last wrestled for the company on August 16, where he faced John Cena (above).

It looks like Alberto Del Rio could be on his way out of the WWE once again. However, she’s been relatively valuable to the company as part of the “Total Divas” show on E! in addition to her women’s wrestling roster spot.

He is not expected to return to the company at all, and is free at the end of September to work anywhere in the United States.

Del Rio is unhappy that promises were not kept
