Alcatel at the CES 2016 in January launched the Pixi 4 in 7-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch variants.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available exclusively through Flipkart. The secondary camera is a 2-Megapixel sensor which comes alongside LED flash. It comes only with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage out of the box which is expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Speaking of the camera, Alcatel Pixi 4 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Alcatel is a brand of mobile handsets that is owned by Chinese electronics company TCL corporation; it has been launching affordable smartphones at a budget level price in range. Under the hood of Alcatel Pixi 4, there is MediaTek MT6735M processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
The company said that this smartphone is specifically mended for their India users. It has been equipped with all regular connectivity options including 4G LTE. The Pixi 4 promises the ideal balance of speed, performance and ergonomics.
The phone has a dimension of 140.7 x 72.5 x 9.5 mm and weighs as light as 169 gm. The smartphone supports a dual micro-SIM setup.
Other features of the Pixi 4 includes Google Translate app, Flip to mute, Mini apps, 1-finger zoom, Pre-embedded apps, Polaroid camera, QR code scanner, Power saving mode, Dual-microphone noise cancellation, Arkamys optimized speakers, high-definition voice, and VoLTE.

This phone gets its juice from 2000mAh battery which is claimed to offer talk time of 11 hours on 3G and standby time of 441hrs (3G) and 196hrs (4G).
