Aldridge scores 28 as Spurs beat Magic 107-92
Those five players – led by reserve point guard Patty Mills and reserve guard/forward Kyle Anderson – keyed the Spurs’ 15-2 run as San Antonio wrestled away Orlando’s short-lived lead and defeated the Magic 107-92 to keep their home unbeaten streak intact. It’s in jest, but they love the big man with the tireless game. The Philadelphia 76ers are fifth overall, having won 36 straight from January 1966 to January 1967….

The Orlando Magic visit the AT&T Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight. The Magic managed to slow the onslaught of San Antonio, but still finished the quarter down 11, 35-24.
San Antonio improved to 26-0 at home – something that it never did in championship years of 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014. However, unlike the teams mentioned above in the chart, the Magic actually fought back from an 18-point deficit in the second and third quarters, to actually take the lead from San Antonio at moments in the third quarter. The Spurs got off to a good start, hitting four of their first seven shots and rolling to a 14-0 lead before Vucevic’s putback at the 8:25 mark gave the Magic their first points.
Grizzlies 110, Pelicans 95: NEW ORLEAN – Zach Randolph had 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Memphis earned its 10th victory in 12 games.
Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving scored 25 points as the Cavaliers won 111-106 in overtime at Indiana. Evan Fournier led the scoring with 24 points off the bench, Aaron Gordon added 19 points while Mario Hezonja had 17 as the Magic rallied from 14 points down to win their first game in over three weeks.
Asked if the Spurs took their foot off the gas for a bit against the Magic, Spurs guard Patty Mills (22 points) did agree with that question: “Yeah definitely”, said Mills. They will then face Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
Aldridge ended up 9 of 13 for a season high 28 points.
Teague went 12 for 15 from the field with a career-high five 3-pointers.
Aldridge was leading the way with 16 in the half.
Chandler Parsons had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Mavericks, who lost Deron Williams to a bruised hip early in the second quarter. That win snapped an eight-game losing streak and proved to be Orlando’s second victory of January – a somewhat shocking statistic considering that the franchise racked up 10 victories in December.

Nikola Jokic had season highs of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while Will Barton scored 20 points for the Nuggets. That night, Westbrook banked in a half-court shot at the end of regulation, while Magic guard Victor Oladipo drilled a tying 3-point shot just before the horn in the first OT.
