That’s right, David Hasselhoff, the man who made Baywatch what it was, officially started shooting his scenes on the remake and both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac shared pics with him.

So far it’s not known exactly what role The Hoff will be playing, since The Rock will be taking over his original role as Mitch.
The 63-year-old looked impressively buff next to his 43-year-old co-star.
“In the 80’s he drove the coolest auto on the planet”, Johnson wrote.
Johnson took to Instagram to share the side-by-side comparison of two generations of Mitch Buchannons, along with a long and sweet post about how privileged he felt to be working with The Hoff in the movie reboot.
“Phenomenal day on set with my brotha – the OG himself @DavidHasselhoff – the man who started it all”, The Rock continued.

The film centers on the relationship between veteran lifeguard Mitch (Johnson) and rookie Matt Brody (Efron) as they’re forced to put aside their egos in order to stop an oil tycoon (Priyanka Chopra) from destroying their beach. “There ain’t no Bay without The Hoff”, Johnson said in the clip.
