Alexis Arquette died of heart attack

Alexis Arquette’s death certificate shows he had been living with HIV for nearly three decades when he died aged 47.

She suffered a bacterial infection of the heart three weeks before she died.

According to the document, Arquette was living with the disease – the underlying cause of her death – for 29 years.

New details surrounding the death of Alexis Arquette have been made public.

Shortly after her death Alexis’ brother Richmond Arquette posted a heartfelt message following her death on Facebook, explaining the actress passed away surrounded by loved ones.

The 47-year-old sibling of actors David, Rosanna, Richmond and Patricia Arquette died on September 11 in Los Angeles. He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones.

“As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension”.

Arquette was best known to movie fans for memorable roles in films such as Pulp Fiction and The Wedding Singer.

“‘He was working as an artist and living in an Actors Fund home in West Hollywood for people with HIV and AIDS.” he revealed.

The actor wrote Arquette passed away at 12.32am while listening to David Bowie’s Starman.

In a statement the Arquette’s family released after her death, they said the actress “fiercely lived her reality in a world where it is risky to be a trans person – a world largely unready to accept differences among human beings, and where there is still the ugliness of violence and hostility towards people that we may not understand. She was a vanguard in the fight for understanding and acceptance for all trans people”.
